Friends and Heroes is an animated children's adventure based in Ancient Egypt, Israel and Rome. The story follows two young friends Macky and Portia as they fight for justice against the Roman Empire. There are thirty nine episodes in total with each DVD showing at least two episodes ideal for family viewing.
Friends and Heroes are multi-language DVDs which are designed for home viewing - if you wish to show them in public, for
example, in a school or a church, you will need to purchase an
Organisation Pack.
There are ten languages on each DVD: Arabic; Chinese (Mandarin); English; French; German; Hindi/Urdu; Korean; Portuguese (Brazilian); Russian and Spanish (South American). All ten subtitles can be displayed with any audio language you select. You select the language you wish to hear when you first insert the DVD into your player. To change languages you simply eject and re-insert the DVD and then select a different language.
Once you have selected the language you wish to hear, all the menus, extras and quizzes will be provided in that language.

TV Systems & DVD Formats
The PAL TV system is used in the British Isles and most of Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Countries which use the SECAM TV system are also usually able to view PAL format DVDs. Please note: All our Multi-Language DVDs, in both PAL and NTSC formats, are 'Region Free', this means that they will play on any DVD Player set to any Region Code.
